We are glad to say that the preparation of the 5th e-Governance Conference - #egov2019 - is in full swing. We hope to meet you all at Swissotel Tallinn on 21st May 2019.

#egov2019 has a fully packed programme with 20+ breakout sessions divided into three tracks: Visions, Actions and e-Estonia.

We are excited to announce that the first day keynote speaker is Ravi Shankar Chaturvedi, Co-investigator & Head of Digital Planet at the Fletcher School, Tufts University. Having investigated the impact of digital innovation on the world, he will share with us how to build smart societies. In the Vision track, Ravi Shankar Chaturvedi and Linnar Viik from eGA will present a new method for governments to accelerate digital transformation.

In the Actions track, Kimmo Ruosku from VAHTI in Finland and Epp Maaten from eGA will present how Finland has used the NSC index ( for countries’ cybersecurity strategy development and tips on how to use NCSI as a comprehensive cyber security measurement tool.

The second presenation in the session on Digital Transformation in the Eastern Partnership Region, will make Volodymyr Bondarenko - State Secretary of Ukraine and Mari Pedak - EGOV4Ukraine project's Team Leader, eGA who will share the Ukrainian example of how to make public services provision efficient in municipalities.

In the Small Countries session, Arvo Ott, eGA and Nicolai M Balle, Faroe Islands will shed light on challenges of small countries, and Arne Ansper from Cybernetica will focus on how some technology components can be shared between different countries for decreasing costs and sharing knowledge.

The e-Estonia track got additional speakers too: Doris Põld, Head of the Estonian ICT Cluster, Agnes Roos, CIO of the biggest Estonian energy company Eesti Energia, and Martin Männil, CIO of the City of Tallinn.

All presentations and discussions will be translated into French and Russian.
